At this year’s FM Ireland, integrated intercom solutions provider Commend UK will reveal an expanded security and communications range, by launching ‘Series WS’, a new generation of Wall mount Intercom Stations, suitable for a wide variety of facilities, including offices, residential, commercial, and utilities use.
With powerful new Intercom 2.0 technology, Series WS combines versatility, security and enhanced performance to make it suitable for a wide range of facilities, from sole trader to multi-site, multinational corporate applications. Its excellent real-time sound quality can be utilised across any distance, and the new Series WS Intercom station’s functionality includes models with built-in video cameras and illuminated call buttons. Durable materials protect the call station against any form of physical violence, and it comes ready prepared for all ambient conditions, from dust, rain, frost, snow and heat.
Complementing Commend’s current IP product line are the recently released GE 800 / GE 300 IP Intercom Servers. Featuring voice, video and control capability, the new Intercom Servers provide simplified routes for integration of functions for offices, access control, car park barriers, and alarms - all over IP networks. Set up is easy, and the systems can be expanded exponentially from a few, to thousands of users.
Also featured will be the company’s new Intercom Client, which converts Windows based PC’s into the familiar Commend desktop station, without additional hardware. The PC monitor is used to display a virtual keypad with a full range of function keys, and is compatible with mouse, computer keyboard or touch-screen control.
The company’s Sales & Marketing Director, Greg Gregoriou, will also be speaking at the show about the deployment of Emergency Voice Communications systems in disabled refuges. This is a subject where the application can not only save lives, but in addition, where correctly specified and installed, can keep businesses on the right side of the law and maximise the value of their capital spend.
Throughout the duration of the show, interactive demonstrations of new and existing Commend security and communications products will be available, at stand number C27.
