With effect from 1st January 2009, Commend UK Ltd will be the new company name for Complus Teltronic Ltd. All trading remains unchanged, as well as the management team, staff and premises.
Complus Teltronic was formed in June 1999 with the merger of Complus Lifts Ltd, the UK distributor for Commend International, and Teltronic Communications Ltd. At this time manufacture of Teltronic intercoms ceased and the new merged company marketed Commend intercoms exclusively, although it continues to this day to make custom-built housings and control panels to meet specific customer demands. In May 2008, Commend International acquired a majority shareholding in Complus Teltronic Ltd. This along with the strength of the world-wide Commend brand led to the decision to rename Complus Teltronic Ltd as Commend UK Ltd.
Based in Austria and established in 1971, Commend International is a trust that ploughs back profits into the company, most significantly into research and development. This has enabled it to be at the forefront of digital and IP technology. It has built an admirable world-wide reputation for its range of intercom systems that can meet complex and sophisticated communication requirements. All Commend systems are backward compatible, enabling systems installed from 1980 to be upgraded to the latest digital and IP technology.
Since the formation of Complus Teltronic in June 1999 the company has built an impressive customer base that includes many prestigious sites and organisations including London Underground, Brunel University, The Museum of Islamic Arts, Canary Wharf and the Scottish Parliament, to name just a few.
Greg Gregoriou, Sales and Marketing Director for Commend UK adds: “As Commend UK, we continue to be part of the global network of Commend companies and remain focused on supply and quality of products and services to all of our customers.”
